Join us for this year’s keynote speaker, Dr. Eddie Glaude Jr., James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor of African American Studies at Princeton University and author of many well-known books exploring the difficulties of race in the United States and the challenges facing our democracy. Dr. Glaude’s talk will be based on his New York Times Bestseller Begin Again: James Baldwin’s America and Its Urgent Lessons for Our Own. The program also includes a Q&A session with Dr. Glaude and moderated breakout sessions on social activism in culture and politics at the national level and on the campus/local level.
