A Celebration of Kenyon Green Initiatives
A Celebration of Kenyon Green Initiatives
Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. ET

Kenyon College offers the Kenyon and Knox County communities a unique array of environmental programs:

The Brown Family Environmental Center, celebrating its 25th anniversary and led by Noelle Jordan, is a 500-acre preserve with nine miles of trails that focuses on year-round educational programming and conservation efforts.
The Philander Chase Conservancy, celebrating its 20th anniversary and led by Lisa Schott '80, is the only land trust affiliated with a college or university in the country. The Conservancy has conserved almost 6,000 acres within a five-mile radius of Kenyon.
Kokosing Nature Preserve, celebrating its 5th anniversary and led by Amy Henricksen, is the only nature preserve cemetery in the country affiliated with a college or university, offering an option for environmentally-friendly burials on 23 acres of native prairie and woodlands.
The Kenyon Farm, led by Ryan Hottle, is a 10-acre student-operated farm.

Join us for a conversation with Noelle, Lisa, Amy and Ryan moderated by Director of Green Initiatives David Heithhaus '99. They'll discuss environmental efforts toward carbon neutrality and making Kenyon a more environmentally-sound campus.

This virtual event is free and open to alumni, families and friends of the College. Register Now.
