MLK Day of Dialogue
This year’s virtual keynote speaker, Gretchen Sorin, is the Director of the Cooperstown Graduate Program, a Distinguished Service Professor at SUNY Oneonta, and author of several titles exploring race in America. Dr. Sorin’s talk Driving While Black: African Americans and Mobility in American Life will be based on her similarly-titled book – recently turned into a major documentary with Ric Burns.

The program will also include a Q&A session with Dr. Sorin and moderated breakout sessions on social activism in culture and politics at the national level and on the campus/local level.
